"5+…" Art group

Five young artists started their careers in Mongolian fine arts at the beginning of the 21st century.
They were Ts.Ariuntugs, D.Enkhbaatar, D.Gankhuyag, D.Purevdorj and B.Tsogtsaikhan,
graduates of the Fine Arts Institute in 1998.
Their works have been displayed in various
joint exhibitions attracting the interest of theinternational audience.
Their very first joint exhibition "Morning Sun" was opened at the art gallery of the
Union of Mongolian Artists in June, 2005, which announced the establishment of the team "5+".
Their pieces displayed at the exhibition as well as the installation works have showed the modern style
of Mongolian fine arts linking it with its past and the photos casting the nomadic way of life in its own view and
the colors and emotions found its home on canvas, were innovative and inspiring.Their works are open displayed
everywhere in Mongolia, at the Opera and Ballet Academic Theater, at the beautiful wild nature with the rhythms
and melodies of the "Roaring Hooves" Modern Actual Music Festival, at the Ice Ravine of the Gobi desert or
during their touring exhibition in the rural areas. The works by those young artists show that their inspiration,
aspiration and energyof young age have pushed them to go forward for greater and brighter future.
